The Light Source SafeStamp is one of a pair of stamp-sized circuit boards designed to approximate the functionality of a spectrophotometer; I developed it as part of my team's submission for the Shalheveth Freier International Physics Tournament. This module consists of a bright white Cree LED module and a ATTiny microcontroller that serves to accept I2C commands to control the brightness of the LED. When used in conjunction with the Color Sensor SafeStamp, the laser-cut holder, a limited selection of dyes, and a boatload of calibration data, it fairly accurately replicates the measurements of a true spectrophotometer.
